The Audience Monetisation Sphere
The work of this sphere consists in monetising the audience on Internet websites by means of advertising and direct marketing (e-mailing).
The ADVERT STREAM Internet advertising agency sells advertising space, all strictly controlled, that is earmarked by the Internet website providers, to advertisers and advertising agencies. By spreading advertising for the advertisers over the Internet websites, this activity makes generating advertising revenue possible for these providers.
ADVERT STREAM sells and manages the advertising spaces for more than 5,000 independent Internet websites, of all sizes.
The entire advertising service activity is managed by a proprietary technological platform, called AD-ACCESS, that was originally developed internally in 2001 and makes it possible to carry out all of the activity’s processing operations (programming the order of the advertising on the Internet websites, distribution of advertising materials, statistical reporting, invoicing…).
The rapid growth of the ADVERT STREAM’s advertising agency can be put down, in the main, to its proprietary technology and its innovative functionality, which allow it to ensure the two goals of an advertising agency: to satisfy advertisers by achieving the advertising objectives and to satisfy the Internet website providers by generating the best possible advertising revenues.
The direct-marketing agency, PROFILES PARTNERS, makes it possible to monetise website providers’ email address databases by offering them to advertisers. This agency, created in June 2006, first started working on monetising the email databases of the websites provided by the Group, in other words more than 2,000,000 opt-in profiles.
The Publsihing Sphere
The publishing sphere creates and exploits Internet sites, combining a strong potential for development with high profitability.
This is how the ADTHINK MEDIA Group continues to evolve, thanks to its publishing subsidiaries in buoyant markets in the fields of meeting/dating, games and thematic media portals.
Internet Meeting/Dating Services Activity
The company Numerik ART, a subsidiary specialising in providing meeting/dating services, opted for an original sales development model, right from its inception in 2004: its own, custom-branded affiliation. This sales strategy has permitted Numerik ART to expand its membership base very rapidly, thanks to its presence on portals generating a huge volume of traffic interested in meeting/dating services. From the user’s point of view, the meeting/dating service differs from the competition in that it has multi-user webcam chat installed online. This webcam chat service allows the members to see one another and talk together in real time in chat rooms that can take up to 200 people. The members can thus chat in public chat rooms, or privately, face to face, with the persons of their choice. The service provided by Numerik ART is, today, France’s foremost meeting/dating service with Webcam
Internet Games Service Activity
In order to capture the largest possible population of games players, the company LUDO FACTORY offers various types of online games on its website, LudoKado.com. In this way, players can choose between games of skill, scratch card games, instant win games, arcade games, as well as slot machine games. Participating in these games allows the players to win points which they can then subsequently convert into gifts of their choice from an online shop filled with various different items and products: DVD films, play consoles, audio systems, MP3 players, etc.
Media Portals Activity
Via its subsidiary, Chercher Europe, ADTHINK MEDIA provides very strongly thematic media portals. And that is how it provides the Chercher.org portal, which is meant to be a front door making searches on the Internet easier for Internauts. In this way, from its home page, Chercher.org offers all the principal services that Internauts call for: weather, TV programmes, general news and sports news. Chercher.org also offers a selection of links for the themes that they are searching for.
The Acquisition and Traffic Generation Sphere
The ADTHINK MEDIA Group has built this sphere around SEM agencies acquired at the end of 2005 in order to generate traffic for the Group’s publishing services and for the Group’s external customers.
This area of activity, represented by the company CLICK MEDIAS, acts as the main means of generating audiences :
- Sponsored linking, also known as SEM (Search Engine Marketing) which consists in positioning websites in search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, …) in the form of sponsored links appearing as a function of key words bought on Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
- Natural linking, also called SEO, which consists in optimising natural positioning in search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, …)
- Purchasing advertising space, on display or by click.
